Hotels in New and well taken care of. The room was a great size and perfect for our stay. My only complaint is that there was never anyone at the front desk and you had to holler and wait for people to come help you.

⭐⭐⭐ The Residence Inn by Marriott in Anderson, SC, looks like it’s going to be the best hotel in the area at first glance. The property appears clean, well-kept, and modern. However, my room had an issue: it smelled like someone had been there previously, and when I pulled back the sheets late at night, I noticed they were dirty with visible stains (photos attached). Despite this, I see myself traveling here often, as it feels like a solid choice compared to many other options nearby, which are more like motels or a Holiday Inn. I hope housekeeping addresses these issues consistently, but the hotel’s location and overall appearance make it a contender for my regular stays.

The hotel is nice and the room was comfortable. Rooms on the side of the building near the road get a great deal of traffic noise. We would have asked for a room on the parking lot side of the building had we known this. The pool, gym, patio w/grill, and lounge/dining area offer a decent amount of space to spread out and relax while staying here. We would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

This is my 2nd time staying here and I must say I'm very impressed, it's such a beautiful property, everything is always so nice and clean. I would recommend this location 10 out of 10 times

I stayed here two years ago, and I’m happy to report it hasn’t aged a day—still just as beautiful now as it was then. Whoever’s in charge of upkeep deserves a medal, because both the grounds and interiors are kept to “Instagram-ready at all times” standards. The location is prime real estate for travelers—easy interstate access for when you want to get moving, and plenty of shopping and dining nearby for when you don’t. The parking lot is well-lit and feels secure, which is always a comfort when you’re traveling with luggage, or, say, a suspiciously comfy mattress you’re debating sneaking out with (kidding… mostly). Speaking of mattresses—wow. It’s the kind of bed you have to psych yourself up to leave in the morning. Pair that with crisp linens, fluffy towels, strong water pressure, and an A/C unit that actually stays quiet while keeping things icy cold, and you’ve got yourself a recipe for one seriously comfortable stay. Now, for the cons. The pillows… let’s just say they’re about as supportive as that one friend who always cancels plans last minute. Flat, limp, and not great if you’re a side sleeper. The market on-site is also on the tiny side, with far fewer options compared to other Residence Inns. And yet, with free internet clocking in at 65–70 mbps, you could probably just order Uber Eats and forget the market exists entirely. All in all, a wonderful place to stay—beautiful, secure, comfortable, and fast enough Wi-Fi to keep you streaming, Zooming, or online shopping at dangerous speeds.

This place is perfect! Clean rooms and facilities, comfortable beds, and superb customer service. The rooms have everything you need for a short or longer stay. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

This was my first experience at this hotel. I can't recommend it enough. The rooms are very well maintained and modern. It has a very please and relaxing atmosphere. Not only was the room clean and nice but they provide all essential items needed to prepare a meal in the room. Overall I am deeply satisfied with my experience so far and I highly recommend it if you need a good place to stay. The amount per night may be higher then the average but it is well worth the cost. Also the location is safe compared to most hotels in Anderson. It is convenient that to be surrounded by restaurants and as well s bear by movie theater. Stronger recommend to anyone traveling or needing a get a way for a few days.

I had a great stay here. Mandy checked me in and she was fantastic. She was warm, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to enjoy helping guests feel at home. The room was clean, quiet, and exactly what I needed after a long day of travel. Breakfast was good too! I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others.
